Every day, poesia produces new seals and profiles for a wide variety of applications at its plant in Unterkulm. The warehouse comprises around 4,000 different variants. The company offers its popular sample service to assist customers who need to replace old seals and profiles.

If new seals are required as part of a renovation of doors or windows, it is often hard to tell what exact type is needed. To make the right order, the carpenter or service technician has two options for finding the right seal with the help of Poesia’s specialists:

Option 1

If an old seal can be removed, the technician can send it or the frame to the experts at Poesia. The specialists can then closely examine it and compare it with the approximately 4,000 types of seals that are in stock.

Option 2

If the customer does not have an old seal that they can send in for comparison, they can instead send in a detailed drawing of the window or frame to Poesia’s specialists. Our experienced employees can analyse the drawing and look for suitable seals that Poesia has in stock.

Sample delivery

If a suitable replacement seal is found, the customer will receive one or more samples of it free of charge within 24 hours for testing purposes. This sample delivery will give the customer the satisfaction that everything does really fit. There is then nothing to stand in the way of an order. If there is still any uncertainty, the customer can contact one of Poesia’s consultants, or Poesia can contact the customer for further clarification.

Ordering options

If all information concerning groove width, rebate width, rebate space and colour is available, the customer can compare the images of the 4,000 products in the catalogue and order directly. Poesia offers ordering options via webshop, app, website, telephone, email or fax.

Custom-made seals

If the customer requires a custom-made or special solution for a seal, Poesia can produce one according to their specifications. The minimum order quantity is 300 m. Smaller quantities are usually possible, but lead to higher costs.

Poesia delivers to its customers from stock within 24 hours.

Sample boxes for building professionals

Carpenters and sanitary fitters, who are often on site at the customer’s location, appreciate being able to refer to Poesia’s sample boxes. There are four types of sample boxes, which are tailored to the following four disciplines: door construction, window construction, sanitary and refrigeration/air conditioning.

With the exception of the refrigeration/air conditioning sample box (CHF 95.00), the three other sample boxes all cost CHF 120.00 each plus VAT and shipping. Each sample box contains 80 to 100 samples about 10 cm in length. After the order, the boxes will be delivered by post to the recipient within 24 hours. Replacement seals for the sample box can be ordered later at any time. If a customer works in a very specialised area, they can also have an individual sample box assembled.
